OXFORD, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Accused Oxford High School shooter Ethan Crumbley is due back in court today for a probable cause hearing.
The 15-year-old previously was arraigned on murder and terrorism charges related to the deadly shooting at the high school back in November last year. Crumbley’s last court appearance was rescheduled by a judge after both the prosecution and defense requested more time to comb through the mountains of evidence from the shooting.
Ethan’s father, James Crumbley, purchased the Sig Sauer 9-millimeter handgun used in the shooting while Ethan was there with him shopping for the weapon.
Meanwhile, both of Ethan’s parents, Jennifer and James Crumbley, are also due in court today on a bond-reduction hearing. They’re facing involuntary manslaughter charges and have been held on $500,000 bail each. They’re hoping to have that reduced to $100,000.
