KALAMAZOO COUNTY, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A winter weather advisory has been issued for Kalamazoo County, according to the National Weather Service Tuesday.
The advisory will begin at 4 a.m. Wednesday and will be in place until 7 a.m. Thursday.
What to Expect
Officials say residents can expect one to six inches of snow, as well as winds gusting as high as 45 miles per hour.
Drivers should plan on slippery road conditions, along with areas of significantly reduced visibility.
Scattered power outages are also possible.
Officials also noted that these conditions will be favorable for large pile-ups on highways.
Drivers are advised to slow down and use caution while traveling during this time period.
