KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – One person suffered non-life threatening injuries after being shot in Kalamazoo Thursday morning.
At approximately 10:30 a.m., officers with the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety responded to reports of an individual struck by gunfire in the 900 block of Trimble Avenue.
Officers arrived in the area and located a victim who was suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim, a 32-year-old Kalamazoo resident, was transported to a local hospital for medical treatment. KDPS says the victim’s injuries are considered non-life threatening.
The investigation into the shooting incident continues.
