DETROIT, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Detroit Tigers are mourning the death of first base coach Kimera Bartee.
Bartee took over coaching duties in Detroit mid-way through last season and was set to return next season. He played in the outfield for the Tigers from 1996-99.
He was born and raised in Omaha and was visiting his father in Nebraska when he died.
Kimera Bartee was 49-years old.
