INDIANAPOLIS, IN (WKZO AM/FM) – The Detroit Pistons are back in action tonight as they tip off against the Indiana Pacers on the road.
Detroit had been scheduled to play in Chicago on Tuesday, but the game was postponed due to COVID-19 issues within the Bulls organization.
The Pistons are 4-and-22 and looking to snap a 12-game losing streak.
The NBA is clamping down on COVID-19 testing as more and more players enter the league’s health and safety protocols. ESPN reports the NBA and the NBA Players Association have entered talks to increase testing for players for all game and practice days. The testing would include all players and staff, regardless of vaccination status.
The NBA does report that 97 percent of its players are vaccinated.
