MINNEAPOLIS, MN (WKZO AM/FM) – Number 20 Michigan State University opened Big Ten men’s basketball play with a 75-67 win at Minnesota last night.
Gabe Brown, Malik Hall, and Tyson Walker each scored 15 points for the Spartans.
MSU, 8-and-2 overall and 1-and-0 in the conference, hosts Penn State Saturday.
Eastern Michigan University held on to beat Niagara 60-58 last night. Bryce McBride led the Eagles with 19 points. EMU is now 4-and-5.
Meanwhile, Central Michigan University lost at Youngstown State 84-77. The Chippewas are now 1-8.
