Consumers Energy to roll out more EV charging stations

LANSING, MI —  There will be more electric vehicle charging stations in Michigan over the next several years.  Consumers Energy says it will increase the number of charging stations it has from 30 to 200.

Company spokesman Brian Wheeler said Tuesday Consumers also has around 13-thousand electric vehicles now but will have a million by 2030.  He notes EV growth will continue and they need to respond to the demand.
