BANGOR, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Another West Michigan school district has announced a temporary closure due to staffing shortages.
On Monday evening, officials with Bangor Public Schools said classes will be canceled on Tuesday, December 7.
The district cited a staffing shortage across multiple departments and buildings.
After-school tutoring will not be held, but sports and other extracurricular activities will continue as planned.
Participants should contact their respective coaches or supervisors with any questions.

Again, this is only the latest district to temporarily close due to staffing shortages. Several West Michigan districts had an extended Thanksgiving break for similar reasons.
