LINCOLN, NE (WKZO AM/FM) – In college basketball action, 24th-ranked University of Michigan opens up Big Ten play tomorrow at Nebraska, while Michigan State University visits Minnesota Wednesday to begin conference play.
The Wolverines are 5-and-3 on the season after beating San Diego State Saturday.
The Spartans sit at 7-and-2 following a rout of Toledo over the weekend.
In games involving MAC schools Sunday, Western Michigan lost to Valparaiso 71-60, Central Michigan was beaten by Western Illinois 97-70 while Eastern Michigan defeated Northwood 79-57.
