LANSING, MI — Michigan’s minimum wage will rise 22-cents an hour on January 1st, 2023. The Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity in Lansing says it will go from nine-dollars-65-cents to nine-dollars-87-cents an hour.
The minimum wage for people who receive tips will rise to three-dollars-75-cents and 16 and 17-year-olds will earn at least eight-dollars-39-cents.
