PORTAGE, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Portage Public Schools was the latest district in southwest Michigan put on alert over a potential threat.
The Portage Department of Public Safety – Police Division says it was notified Thursday around 10:30 p.m. of a shared social media post regarding a possible
threat made toward Portage Public Schools.
They say working in collaboration with school officials, the source of the post was quickly identified and it was determined there was no credible threat or actionable intelligence indicating any threat to the school, students, or faculty.
