KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Tuesday, Consumers Credit Union announced that it has broken ground on its newest office in Lansing.
Located at 6935 South Cedar Street, the 8,959 square foot office is expected to open its doors in 2022.
Officials say the new location will offer a full financial experience, including personal checking, savings, credit cards, mortgages, full-service lending and banking, investments and education.
“We are thrilled to open an office in Lansing to bring top rated member service to the area,” president and CEO of Consumers Credit Union Kit Snyder said in a statement. “We look forward to the new relationships we will form and those we will strengthen as we grow to meet the needs of our newest community.”
The office will feature Consumers’ TellerPlus+ technology in both the lobby and drive-thru lanes. The location will also include a free coffee bar, wireless banking stations with Wi-Fi, loan and member service areas and an indoor/outdoor community space with a connecting patio.
Partners on the project include contractor CopperRock Construction and building designers Bosch Architecture.

Consumers is currently celebrating its 70th year since it was established in 1951. In office and online, they currently serve more than 117,000 members in West Michigan with 23 existing locations.
