KALAMAZOO COUNTY, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Over the last week, the Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office has responded to multiple property theft crimes from various townships within Kalamazoo County.
The townships include Texas, Oshtemo, Cooper, Richland and Ross.
The subjects are focusing on vehicles that are left unlocked, or with the keys inside of them.
Currently, the Sheriff’s Office is working on investigating these incidents, but want to remind residents in Kalamazoo County to be vigilant in locking
vehicles if they are left outside, or remove any valuable property from the vehicles.
Especially with the holiday season, residents are asked to report any suspicious activity and take precautionary measures in securing vehicles.
Although these crimes don’t involve weapons the Sheriff’s Office also reminds residents to make sure to secure any firearms from vehicles when you are not present.
