ORONOKO TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – One man is recovering and a teen has been arrested after a shooting in Oronoko Township Monday.
Just before noon, officials with the the Berrien Springs Oronoko Township Police Department say they responded to a report of a shooting.
A 56-year-old man was shot in the chest by a 17-year-old suspect. The shooting was the result of a domestic dispute, police said.
The 56-year-old is said to be in serious condition, but is stable. The teen is in custody at this time.
He is currently being held at the Berrien County Juvenile Center, and will face a charge of assault with intent to commit murder.
