KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — The Kalamazoo College men’s soccer team ended the regular season Wednesday night at MacKenzie Field by battling Hope College to a 0-0 draw in double overtime.
Emilio Romo led the Hornets (10-3-3, 5-1-1 MIAA) with four of their ten shots. The Dutch tallied seven shots on the evening and outpaced K in saves (3-2) and corner kicks (4-3).
The tie clinches second place in the MIAA for Kalamazoo and a first-round bye in the conference tournament. The Hornets will host a to-be-determined opponent Wednesday at 6 p.m.
