CENTREVILLE, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — St. Joseph County police successfully recovered two stolen camper trailers on Wednesday, October 27.
According to the St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Office, the two trailers had a combined value of over 60 thousand dollars.
Sheriff Mark Lillywhite says that deputies were called out around 5:30 p.m. on a report of a possible stolen camper trailer in the 12000 block of Riverside Drive in Constantine Township. There, deputies were able to obtain a search warrant for the property.
The first stolen camper valued at 35 thousand dollars, was located and returned to the owner. While on site, deputies also located a second stolen camper on the property. The camper, valued at 27 thousand dollars, was also returned to the owner.
Police are asking anyone with information on this incident to contact the St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Office.
