BATTLE CREEK, MI (WNWN/WTVB) – With Election Day coming up next Tuesday, Battle Creek City Hall will be open extra hours this week.
The election is for voters only in the Battle Creek Public Schools and Pennfield Schools districts.
City Hall will be open to the public until 4:00 p.m. on Friday so voters can stop in to receive an absentee ballot if they wish.
The building will also be open to the public on Saturday from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.. Only the Clerk’s Office will be open on Saturday and can issue absentee ballots.
City Hall will be open next Monday between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. which are the normal business hours. The Clerk’s Office can issue an absentee ballot, but voters must vote the ballot in the Clerk’s Office and cannot leave with it.
City Hall will be open to the public between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Election Day. Staff can still register new voters in person during this time.
An absentee ballot drop box also is available for your completed absentee ballot right outside the entrance to City Hall.
