LANSING, MI — Lansing’s Sexton High School is closed for a second consecutive day this week as school officials take extra steps to prevent a major outbreak of Covid-19. School officials confirmed today more than 200 students and staff were potentially exposed to COVID-19 earlier this week.
In addition, all extracurricular activities have been cancelled, including the Sexton varsity football game tonight against Williamston High School.
Lansing school officials were expected to meet today to evaluate plans for resuming classes on Monday.
