KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — An event will be held this weekend to benefit several organizations in the Kalamazoo area. The OLLI Cares ‘Fill a Trunk – Drive up and Donate’ takes place Saturday, October 23 in the parking lot at the corner of Westnedge Ave. and Kilgore Rd., near the former Big Lots location, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.. It’s through the Osher Lifelong Learning Insitute at Western Michigan University.
Volunteers will be in the parking lot with their trunks open to accept donated items that are the most needed for the organizations they are working to help. People are asked to check the various Facebook pages and websites of the organizations to see what their biggest needs are.
