M-96 road construction project underway; completion expected in November

AUGUSTA MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Motorists who travel on M-96 near Augusta should be aware of the road project that began on Wednesday.

MDOT is resurfacing about 2 ½ miles of the highway from the Kalamazoo River Bridge to Armstrong Rd.

The project, which has been delayed, should be completed by November 8^th.

While work takes place, one lane in each direction will be open, but drivers should expect delays and stoppages.
