COMSTOCK TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Classes have been canceled today at Comstock High School due to a positive COVID-19 case in a student who attended a school dance last week.
That dance was held in the school gym on Friday, which has now led to a contact tracing effort for others who were in attendance. Along with classes, all extra-curricular activities are also be canceled today. Other schools in the Comstock School District will hold classes as usual.
Officials are asking parents of students who were at the dance, and are not vaccinated for COVID-19, to get in contact with them at 269-250-8705 for further instructions. Parents of students who are vaccinated do not need to take any action.
