HARTFORD, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Someone in Hartford is apparently leaving fake money around the area, the Hartford Police Department announced Tuesday.
The perpetrator is said to be throwing the fake bills into residential yards.
The department warns that knowingly spending fake money is a crime, and anyone who finds a random bill should have it checked at a local store, bank or the police department.
