LANSING MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The state Auditor General’s office has begun an audit of the Michigan Secretary of State’s office and the Bureau of Elections in connection with the 2020 election.
State Representative Ed McBroom, R-Vulcan, stated that this action is not unusual.
This audit is to check the processes that the SOS used to handle the election, and then will move on to the check of the BOE.
The Senate Oversight Committee, of which McBroom is chair, conducted an investigation of the election and found no evidence of the widespread fraud that was alleged by some.
