ANN ARBOR, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – University of Michigan defensive back Brad Hawkins and kicker Jacob Moody have been honored by the Big Ten.
Hawkins was named co-defensive player of the week after recording five tackles, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery in UM’s 32-29 win at Nebraska.
Moody is the conference special teams player of the week after making four field goals and converting both extra point attempts.
Michigan State University wide receiver Jalen Nailor has been named Big Ten co-offensive player of the week. He had five receptions for 221 yards and three touchdowns in MSU’s 31-13 win over Rutgers.
This marks Nailor’s first career offensive player of the week honor.
