PORTAGE, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Utility work will cause a temporary closure of two roads in Portage this week. One being parts of Shaver Road starting Monday, October 11.
According to the Portage Department of Transportation and Utilities office, a water valve box will be repaired on Shaver Road.
The lane closure will be removed by 4 p.m. Tuesday, October 12.
Motorists are advised to be alert for construction activities and may wish to seek an alternate route to avoid delays.
All construction activity is dependent on favorable weather.
