PENNFIELD TOWNSHIP, MI (WNWN/WTVB) – Pennfield High School has been forced to go to virtual learning due to a significant number of staff and students who are absent as a result of quarantine, COVID-19 or other illness.
The distance learning started on Thursday and will go through next Friday, October 15.
Staff and students will return to in-person learning on Monday, October 18.
According to a post on Pennfield Schools Facebook page, high school parent-teacher conferences and sports events will continue as scheduled.
High School students are expected to report online to each of their scheduled courses following their bell schedule. Attendance will be taken.
As a reminder, students who are quarantined should not be on school grounds participating in any event. Students and staff who are currently in quarantine are expected to participate in distance learning.
