ANN ARBOR, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – It was another busy Saturday for college football in Michigan, and wins for U of M and MSU moved them up in the polls.
The University of Michigan defense had six sacks and an interception in a 38-17 win over Wisconsin. Michigan moved up six spots in the Coaches Poll and are the number-eight team in the nation. U of M is ranked ninth this week in the Associated Press Poll.
Kenneth Walker had 126 rushing yards and three touchdowns in a 48-31 Michigan State University Homecoming win over Western Kentucky. Michigan State is now ranked number-11 in both the Coaches Poll and the Associated Press Poll.
Western Michigan won at Buffalo 24-17, Eastern Michigan lost 27-20 on the road against Northern Illinois while Central Michigan lost at Miami of Ohio 28-17.
