19-year-old in serious but stable condition after being shot in the face

KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — A 19-year-old Fenton resident is in serious but stable condition after being shot in the face in Kalamazoo on Saturday.

Kalamazoo Department of Safety Police responded to a report of a shooting around 3:30 a.m. at a business in the 1300 block of Ravine Road.

Authorities say the victim was transported to the hospital by friends.  The incident is under investigation.
