OSTEMOT TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Kalamazoo County authorities are looking for two of three suspects involved in an armed robbery early Monday morning. Sheriff’s deputies responded to an area along Mt. Royal Dr. in Oshtemo Township at around 1:30 a.m..
A victim said three people approached him as he was walking to his apartment. One of them produced a handgun and demanded the man’s debit card, before the three suspects fled in different directions on foot. One of the suspects was arrested near the scene, but the other two remain at large. The victim was not injured.
The suspect armed with the handgun was described as a black male, approximately 6’0” with a medium build, wearing a COVID-19 mask and dark clothing. The second suspect was described as a black male, approximately 5’10” with a stocky build, wearing a gray shirt, black pants, and a COVID-19 mask.
