ANN ARBOR, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The University of Michigan Wolverines are jumping into the Top-25 Coaches’ Poll following their 2-0 start to the season.
Michigan is ranked 25th this week after crushing Washington 31-10 Saturday. The Wolverines will wrap up non-conference play this Saturday hosting Northern Illinois.
Michigan State University is also 2-and-0 after beating up on Youngstown State over the weekend, but did not break into the poll. The Spartans will visit Miami this Saturday.
After a wild Week Two of college football, the Oregon Ducks have made their way into the top five of the Coaches Poll. Oregon bolted all the way up to number four overall after its 35-28 road win over the Ohio State Buckeyes Saturday, who dropped to number 11.
Alabama remains at the top of the poll, followed by Georgia, Oklahoma, Oregon and Texas A&M. The Iowa Hawkeyes leaped up to number 7 overall after beating Iowa State 27-17 Saturday.
