MADISON, WI (WKZO AM/FM) – For the third straight time the Western Michigan University men’s soccer team heads on the road, this time to Madison, Wisconsin to take on the Wisconsin Badgers Thursday night. The kickoff is scheduled for 8:00 p.m. EDT.
The Badgers come into Thursday’s contest following a 1-1 tie with Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville coming last Thursday, and a 2-1 loss to Green Bay Sunday.
The Broncos, who were picked fourth in the MAC Coaches Preseason Poll, are looking for their first victory of the 2021 campaign against the Badgers following a 2-1 road loss to the University of Virginia last Thursday, and a 4-2 road loss to Loyola-Chicago this past Sunday.
The Western Michigan women’s soccer team heads to Bloomington, Indiana Thursday to take on the Hoosiers of Indiana University for a 7:00 p.m. showdown before returning home to Kalamazoo Sunday to take on No. 25 USC for the first time in school history.
