BATTLE CREEK, MI (WNWN/WTVB) – Ongoing staffing issues is forcing the City of Battle Creek to close the Flash Flood Water Park for the season one day earlier than originally scheduled.
The final day for the water park will be this Sunday, September 5. The hours will be noon until 6:00 p.m.. The park normally stays open through the Labor Day holiday.
Flash Flood will still host the 2021 Puppy Plunge on Saturday, September 11. Visit recreation.bcparks.org to sign up.
With Labor Day next Monday, Full Blast Recreation Center will transition to the fall/winter schedule next Tuesday. Winter hours will be 7:00 a.m. until 8:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. on weekends.
Full Blast and the fitness center will be closed this Thursday through next Monday for gym floor refinishing and the Labor Day holiday.
