DETROIT, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Detroit Tigers were one-for-five with runners in scoring position in a 3-2 loss to the Minnesota Twins in a makeup game Monday afternoon.
Casey Mize gave up three fourth-inning runs as he falls to 7-and-7 on the season. Derek Hill hit a solo home run for Detroit, but the Tigers grounded into two double-plays and left five runners on base in the game, failing to score after the fifth inning.
Tarik Skubal gets the start for the Tigers tonight against Oakland. The opening pitch is scheduled for 7:10 p.m.
