Lions look to trim roster ahead of September 12 regular season opener

ALLEN PARK, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – With the preseason in the rear view mirror, the Detroit Lions are focused on roster cuts.

The Lions must trim the roster from 80 to 53 by tomorrow. Once the roster is set, the Lions will then focus on the regular season opener.

Detroit hosts the San Francisco 49’ers to open the season Sunday,September 12.
