KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Kalamazoo Police say six people were arrested during a search at a home in the Milwood neighborhood Wednesday night. Several complaints about activity at the home on Cambridge Drive this year led to the search and the house has now been condemned by the city of Kalamazoo.
Investigators said they found traces of meth distribution, illegal firearms, stolen credit cards, and stolen vehicles at the property. They say several people were distributing drugs and also selling stolen vehicle parts.
Kalamazoo County Animal Control also responded to the scene to address animal violations on the property.
The city is still trying to learn who owns the property. Until then, the house will be boarded up with all windows and doors fully secured. Trash and debris scattered around the residence will also be removed.
