KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Wednesday, Kalamazoo-based Green Door Distilling Co. announced that their newly released Amaro, Botanical Gin, and Vodka all medaled at the American Distilling Institute’s Craft Spirits Competition.
“We’re ecstatic. Between this and our success earlier in the year at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition all four of our 2021 released spirits have now earned awards,” Founder and CEO Josh Cook said in a statement. “Having been born and raised here, it’s very gratifying to see our brand bring more awareness to the incredible community that Kalamazoo is.”
Green Door’s Amaro won a gold medal, while their Botanical Gin and Vodka both received bronze.
All four of Green Door’s 2021 spirits have now won awards, with their Blueberry Liqueur earning a Double Gold at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition earlier this year.
