KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — UPDATE: The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety (KDPS) has released the name of the victim who was fatally shot early Sunday morning.
Previously, police had said that a shooting occurred around 4:45 a.m. in the 800 block of Woodbury Avenue.
A 41-year-old Kalamazoo man was located with a gunshot wound and later died at the hospital.
A second victim was struck by a stray bullet that entered his home in the 600 block of Florence St. The 27-year-old man is expected to survive.
On Monday, police identified the deceased victim as Kenya Marcole Anderson.
There are still no suspects in this incident, which remains under investigation at this time.

Another weekend of gun violence in Kalamazoo left one dead and three injured in three separate shootings in the city.
The first shooting happened early Saturday morning near Belmont and Burdick Streets. Officers responded around 3:15 and found no suspect or victim in the area. They later learned a victim had arrived at a local hospital suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The 23-year-old man was last listed in serious condition.
The second shooting took place early Sunday morning in the 800 block of Woodbury Ave. Kalamazoo police responded around 4:45 on reports of gunfire. A third shooting took place Sunday morning around 11:30 in the 1400 block of E. Stockbridge. Police arrived and found evidence of a shooting but did not find a victim. They learned that someone had arrived at a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries from a gunshot wound.
