A spokesman for Dairy Management Incorporated says to expand its profile from a nutrition standpoint you’ll soon see more investment in filtration technologies that will be able to extract value from micronutrients of milk. Further, dairy’s positive role in gut health and reducing inflammation will need to receive expanded emphasis. Blended dairy products – things like cheese infused with wine, or fruits or nuts – can create new flavor palates for dairy to heighten its profile when it comes to snacking or entertaining.
It’s all designed to make us consider the products dairy farms turn out as more than a slice of cheese or a glass of milk.
