Michigan likely to issue mask mandate for state workers

LANSING, MI — A policy mandating masks for all state employees is expected to be issued this week in Lansing, according to those familiar with developments.

It will also likely apply to anyone entering a state building, according to a letter from the Office of the State Employer’s acting director Cheryl Schmittdiel.  She notes in the letter the official policy language has not yet been set.
