FABIUS TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Office is reporting that two suspects were arrested after a pursuit over the weekend.
Just before 11 p.m. Saturday, deputies attempted to stop a vehicle on Null Road near Pulver Road for a traffic violation. The driver fled the scene, leading deputies and a Three Rivers Police Department officer on a chase.
During the chase, the suspect drove through a residential yard on Pleasant View Road and crashed into a TRPD patrol vehicle before taking off again.
The suspect vehicle eventually lost control of the vehicle as it turned off of Day Road onto Dutch Settlement Road.
The driver, a 37-year-old male from Three Rivers, was taken into custody. The passenger, a 26-year-old female from Vicksburg, was taken into custody as well.
Both suspects were then jailed for narcotics violations. The male suspect was lodged for additional charges related to the vehicle pursuit and outstanding warrants.

This only the latest pursuit to occur in the St. Joseph County area. Police are still searching for a suspect involved in a motorcycle-related incident that occurred Friday.
