COMSTOCK TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — A new round-a-bout in Kalamazoo County has been completed and is open to traffic. M-DOT says work at the intersections at Gull Road and “G” Avenue, 27th and 28th Streets in Richland and Comstock Townships is finished.
They say the $4.1 million dollar project will result in improved safety along the M-343 corridor by slowing traffic and making it easier for travelers to access businesses and local roads.
There will be some shoulder closures in the area for the next week while restoration work is completed. Construction crews will return in the fall to install streetlights.
