Funding is being directed toward research into artificial intelligence at 11 National Science Foundation institutes.
The National institute of Food and Agriculture is partnering with NSF to pursue advances in a range of economic sectors and science and engineering fields ranging from food security to next-generation networks. It’s hoped the move will speed the ability to meet agricultural workforce needs and increase nutrition security while providing tools for climate-smart production.
The research expects to deliver solutions related to labor, water, weather and climate change.
