KALAMAZOO MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety arrested nine teenagers Friday in connection with several recent shootings and vehicle thefts.
Officers said that four teens were arrested in one incident, while five others were taken into custody in connection with another situation.
Multiple weapons, ammunition, and stolen vehicles were taken as evidence in the arrests, which involved teens from 13-17 years old.
Five of the nine are lodged at the County Juvenile Home and County Jail, while the others were released in the custody of their parents.
