KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Two separate shootings took place in Kalamazoo last night.
The first one was reported at around 7:15 near the intersection of Bush and Burdick Streets. No victim was found at the scene, but Kalamazoo officers later learned a teenage victim had arrived at a hospital with gunshot wounds. The 16-year-old is in stable condition.
Just after 8:00 pm.m., officers were called to a shooting on Hotop Ave. between Ampersee and Gilbert. No victims were found there but a vehicle had been struck by bullets. Both cases remain under investigation and no suspects have been identified.
