KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — A local baseball rivalry separated by only 18 miles along I-94 will continue next week.
The Kalamazoo Growlers will host the Battle Creek Bombers on Monday, July 26, and Tuesday, July 27 for the ‘Final Rivalry Nights’ this season. Both games are scheduled for 6:35 p.m..
Meanwhile, the Growlers will come off of a three-day break for the Northwoods League All-Star game. They are in action on the road Thursday night as they begin a two-game series against the Madison Mallards. They stay on the road for the weekend with a two-game series against the Kokomo Jackrabbits.
The Bombers are home coming off the break hosting the Green Bay Booyah for a two-game series that begins at C.O. Brown Stadium Thursday night. For the weekend, they will host a two-game series with the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters.
