CENTREVILLE MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A 29-year-old Three Rivers man faces numerous charges after leading St Joseph County deputies on a high-speed chase Wednesday evening.
Authorities report that deputies were in the process of making a traffic stop in Mendon Township around 7:30 pm, when the vehicle drove off.
The suspect led authorities on a short chase, ending up in a corn field.
Deputies surrounded the field and located the man attempting to dispose of some narcotics.
In addition to outstanding warrants, the man is being charged with fleeing and eluding, resisting arrest, and narcotics violations.
