LANSING, MI — The Michigan Republican Party director is out after saying former President Trump “blew” the 2020 election and continued to lie about it. Jason Roe announced he resigned yesterday but would only say his reason will stay between him and party chair Ron Weiser.
Grassroots activists had been calling for him to be censured and removed for criticizing Trump. Roe told MIRS News that unifying the GOP is among its biggest challenges before next year’s election.
