TEKONSHA, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Calhoun County deputies responded to a crash in Tekonsha just after midnight Saturday, involving a semitruck and a Suburban.
According to police, the Suburban was carrying a 1-year-old at the time of the crash.
It happened in the area of Michigan Highway 60 near Interstate 69 when the Suburban, driven by a 30-year-old Saginaw woman, turned in front of a semitruck while driving east. The westbound semitruck then collided with the vehicle.
According to deputies, a 42-year-old man riding in the Suburban sustained a serious leg and hip injury.
The 1-year-old, as well as the 61-year-old truck driver were both injured.
