It’s nominating time for Farm Service Agency county committee members.
You have until August 2nd to get completed forms delivered to the local FSA office. Elected members make decisions regarding how federal farm programs are administered locally. This local focus underscores the diversity of agriculture coast to coast. FSA Administrator Zach Ducheneaux says now is the time to step up and make an impact on how federal farm programs are administered at the local level to reach producers fairly and equitably.
Nationwide, more than 7,700 agriculture community members serve on FSA county committees.
