PORTAGE, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Portage Parks and Recreation announcing the closure of the beach at Ramona Park, 8600 South Sprinkle Road, but only for one day.
In a press release from the city of Portage, the beach will be closed on Monday, June 21st, for a herbicide application on Long Lake. Swimming will not be permitted at any of the waterfronts within Ramona Park during this time.
The beach is scheduled to reopen on Tuesday, June 22nd for normal business hours.
